The Eventuri Hybrid Airbox System represents a breakthrough intake solution for the BMW M3 (E46), delivering the distinctive CSL-style sound combined with the smooth drivability of the factory system. Unlike traditional CSL conversions, this system retains full MAF functionality and does not require ECU remapping. Constructed from prepreg carbon fiber and reinforced thermoplastics, it ensures precision fitment, stability, and performance under demanding driving conditions.

Performance Increase with OEM ECU tune: 20–22 hp, 8–13 ft-lb.

Main Airbox Assembly

The main airbox houses six intake trumpets and the breather system connectors. Made from prepreg carbon fiber, it produces the unique CSL resonance under load. The trumpets are molded from glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic to ensure accuracy and strength, with stainless steel reinforcement rings to prevent deformation during installation. All interfaces are mechanically fastened and sealed to withstand heat cycles and vibration without air leakage.

Airbox Snorkel

The snorkel section channels airflow from the intake scoop into the main airbox. This part incorporates the MAF tube and a CNC-machined boss for the OEM sensor, allowing accurate measurement without recalibration. The snorkel is fixed with custom screws and securing clips to prevent loosening under vibration and heat.

Intake Housing Assembly

The filter housing uses Eventuri’s patented Venturi carbon fiber design, which maintains laminar airflow and reduces pressure loss. The reverse-mounted dry filter and smooth internal geometry ensure unrestricted airflow through the MAF section and into the plenum, resulting in improved throttle response and consistent sensor readings.

Patented Technology

The Venturi housing features a controlled reduction in cross-sectional area, creating an acceleration effect that maintains laminar flow and minimizes drag. This principle delivers both stable airflow and increased efficiency across the rev range, distinguishing it from conventional cone filter designs.

Cold Air Scoop

The carbon fiber air scoop directs cold ambient air from the front brake duct directly into the filter opening. Its CNC-machined collar ensures a secure fit, while its compact design occupies only half the duct height, preserving airflow to the brakes. The result is a steady cold air supply even under prolonged load.

Complete Package

The system includes all components required for installation and operation, eliminating the need for additional tuning or modifications. Only the SMG reservoir relocation kit is required separately.
